micro:bit champions applications now open
The Micro:Bit Foundation has launched micro:bit Champions which is a program for educators advocating digital creativity.
The goal of micro:bit Champions is to help other educators bring the do your:bit challenge to life.
The Foundation are encouraging all Educators to apply, so whether you are a Teacher, Code Club volunteer, or a CoderDojo Mentor you can apply to become a micro:bit Champion.

The main requirement to applying to become a micro:bit champion is that you are currently helping students with their digital creativity using the micro:bit.
Champions will take part in virtual meetups, conferences and webinars with fellow educators to share the impact micro:bit can have on learning in and outside of the classroom. Champions will become ambassadors within the education space for the micro:bit to share the word about what it can do within the education community.
In return, champions will receive kit to host their own micro:bit powered webinars such as free micro:bits to give away alongside a certificate, t-shirt and digital badge for themselves.
To find out more about becoming a micro:bit champion and to apply to be a part of the program, head on over to the official page below:

We look forward to hearing from the selected micro:bit champions about how they are using the micro:bit to teach students and support other educators in the future.
